On March 13th 2002, Rock Against Cancer hosted a "Stars Night Out" event for teens being treated for cancer at Carolinas Medical Center. Grammy award winning artist, Nelly Furtado, was at the event. The kids met Nelly, posed for personal photos, and received an autographed poster before enjoying a fun, high energy performance from the pop star.
