Midtown Music Festival - Atlanta.
Rock Against Cancer volunteers braved heavy rain during the Midtown
Music Festival in Atlanta, May 2-4, 2002 to help spread the word about childhood cancer. Over
300,000 people attended the festival. RAC distributed thousands of informational
flyers with facts about childhood cancer and gold ribbon childhood cancer awareness
pins during the festival. On Sunday, the closing night of the festival, RAC
treated area teens to a special evening with the band No Doubt.
